This is a 10* COAST-TO-COAST TOTAL EXPRESS on the UNDER Flames/Blues.
As primarily a situational handicapper, I like the way this one sets up as being a tight, lower-scoring defensive affair.
Calgary is off back-to-back 4-3 OT road losses. Both games went OVER the number. I look for the Flames to double down defensively here tonight after that. Remember, Calgary still only averages 3.05 GPG, which ranks 23rd.
One of those OT road losses was to these very blues, just two nights ago! St. Louis averages 3.17 GPG, which ranks 17th. It's seen the total go OVER in five of its last six.
As I said, from a situational stand point, I see this game being much tighter, and utimately lower-scoring than the last one Tuesday.
The play is the UNDER.
