This is a 9* TOP AFTERNOON TOTAL on the OVER White Sox/Jays.
Both teams have been playing to several UNDERS of late, but I like the way the finale of this three game sets up as more of a SLUG-FEST.
The Jays won here 3-1 last night. The White Sox go with Carlos Rodon, who is 9-5 with a 2.38 ERA. He's been activated from the ten-day IL. He threw a bullpen session and has been cleared to go, but he'll still be under a short leash here this afternoon.
The home side goes with Hyun-Jin Ryu, who is 12-6 with a 3.54 ERA. He went seven scoreless in a win over the Tigers in his last outing.
Two really good pitchers, but I say the trends hold true here, as Chicago has seen the total go OVER the number in eight of its last 11 in trying to revenge a road loss against an opponent in which it was held to one or less runs in.
Toronto on the other hand has seen the total eclipse the posted number in seven of its last ten after playing to three or more straight UNDERS in a row.
I expect the runs to come fast and furious between these two playoff hopeful clubs.
