This is a 10* WESTERN-CONFERENCE TOTAL OF THE WEEK on the UNDER Avs/Stars.
Colorado was massively favored heading into this series, but after back-to-back dominating upsets by the Stars, Game 3 is now a "pick-em."
Colorado jumped out to an early 2-0 lead in Game 2, but then the Stars got that back quickly and ended up winning 5-2 in another lop-sided and high-scoring affair.
These two teams were two of the most solid defensive clubs in the regular season and while the first two games have flown way over, I think a classic lower-scoring "duel" is in the cards in Game 3.
These goaltenders are a "wash" in my opinion despite the results over the first two games of this series, so I'll call that department a "wash."
Note though that the Avs have seen the total UNDER the number in eight of their last 11 after back-to-back losses in which both contests went OVER the number.
This number is high, the play is the UNDER!
