This is an 8* play on the A's.
The A's are so far 2-1 in this series. I gave out Oakland as one of my official "Discord Wagers" (free picks in The Insiders Room Discord server) and I think it'll deliver here as well.
Griffin Canning was 5-6 with a 4.58 ERA in 2019 and while he was a decent 1-1 with a 3.50 ERA over 18 innings vs. the A's last year, I still believe he'll struggle in this difficult road venue.
Chris Bassitt went a respectable 10-5 with a 3.81 ERA last season and he earned wins over the Angels in both starts last year, 8-5 and 12-3.
I think Bassitt will get the better of his counterpart and all things considered, feel we're getting an excellent price on the home side in this matchup.
