Result: Loss
The Toronto Raptors and Detroit Pistons will meet at Amalie Arena in Tampa. On this fierce game the Pistons will enter the game without point guards Delon Wright who is suffering from groin injury, Kilian Hayes ailing hip injury and Frank Jackson who has an illness and is questionable to play.
From the previous game, the Pistons were playing at home on Sunday and lost to New York Knicks by 19 points as there defense gave up 50% shooting to the visitors both from the field as well as from long-range. Including that game they had already registered three-game losing streak. From their latest defeat by the Knicks, they posted less than 100 points for the third time in 6 outings. They also made only 38.4% of their field goals and 28.1% of their 3 pointers.
The Raptors on the other hand, after winning 4-straight games they later lost a couple of games to Philadelphia 109-102 and at Miami 116-108. They have won their latest game against Houston Rockets last Friday night, but prior to that their game against Chicago Bulls was postponed due to a number of coaches and players testing positive to covid-19. From the Friday night game Norman Powell was leading by posting 30 points. Pascal Siakam will miss the game against Pistons due to being under the leagues health and safety protocols.
Detroit Pistons miss a couple of point guards on their offense and that makes them weak. They have failed to surpass 100-point mark in their last six outings. The Raptors have certainly improved defensively but while Siakam being out, it is unsure as to whom the Raptors will dress out in this contest. Furthermore, head coaches Nick Nurse along with a number of his assistants are unavailable due to covid-19 positive test results. TAKE THE UNDER
