*6* play on Detroit Red Wings.

The Columbus Blue Jackets upset the Bruins in Boston last night, winning 6-4. Only the Toronto Maple Leafs have fewer points in the Eastern Conference, and the Blue Jackets are nowhere near in contention for a playoff spot. Don't be surprised to see a bit of a let down for the visitors here in Detroit tonight.

Here are my keys to the game:

1. Home Cookin' - Detroit has a solid home record of 15-10-3, and the Blue Jackets are just 11-30 in the last 41 meetings in Detroit. The Wings are coming off four straight losses on the road, and they are 5-1 in their last six home games following a road trip of seven or more days.

2. Jimmy Howard - Detroit's veteran netminder pitched a shutout in regulation at New York, stopping 29-of-30 shots before conceding the game winner in overtime. "Throughout the 11 years, that might have been the best game I've ever seen him play," defenseman Kyle Quincy said. "He had such a great game. Hopefully he can keep going. If he does that, we're in great shape."

3. X-Factor - The Red Wings are 8-2 in their last 10 games playing on 1 days rest.

Selection: This is a play on the Detroit Red Wings (6*)
