The Nevada Wolfpack will be on the road at UNLV on Saturday, and the Rebels might be asked to cover a few too many points in this spot. The Wolfpack are actually ahead of the Rebels in the conference standings, and UNLV has lost four of it's last six overall. My money is on Nevada plus the points.
Here are my keys to the game:
1. Previous History - The Rebels already lost at Nevada earlier this season, and the Wolfpack have covered the spread in seven of the last 10 meetings in this series. They've won outright in two of their last three visits to Las Vegas.
2. Stephen Zimmerman - The 7-footer is sidelined with a knee injury, and it's a big loss for UNLV. He had been averaging a double-double in conference play, Without him they were out-rebounded 36-30 by Air Force in their last game.
3. X-Factor - The Wolfpack have covered the spread in seven of their last eight overall.
