The Arizona Coyotes put an end to a five-game skid when they defeated the Flames 4-1 home in Arizona last night. They have to travel to California to take on the Sharks here the next day though, and this looks like a very favorable match-up for the home team.

Here are my keys to the game:

1. The Rest - The San Jose Sharks suffered a 6-5 shootout defeat against the Flames two days ago, but they're 12-4 in their last 16 games playing on one days rest. The Yotes have lost four of their last five when playing on back-to-back nights.

2. Previous Meetings - The Sharks defeated the Yotes 3-1 at Arizona on Jan. 21 and they've won four of the last five head-to-head meetings. The Coyotes have left the Shark Tank as winners in just four of their last 15 visits.

3. X-Factor - The Sharks' veteran Joe Thornton has recorded three goals and three assists during a four-game point streak. He has notched at least one point in 22 of his last 24 games.
