The LSU Tigers got off to a slow start, but they appear to have hit their stride, now 8-3 in the SEC. They host Texas A&M this Saturday, and the Aggies have lost three straight. It's not going to be easy to get back on track on the road in Baton Rouge. My money is on the home team.
Here are my keys to the game:
1. Previous History - LSU is money when coming off a loss, the Tigers are 14-5-1 ATS in their last 20 games following a straight up loss. The Aggies have failed to cover in five straight versus conference rivals.
2. Home Cookin' - The home team has been the best bet in this series, covering the spread in eight of the last 10. The Aggies have not been a good bet on the road, they are are 1-5-1 ATS in their last 7 road games.
3. X-Factor - Ben Simmons has scored 57 points, pulling in 28 rebounds over his last three games. The freshman phenom did not play well in a loss to the Aggies earlier this year, but he's grown as a player since then.
