The Monmouth Hawks are sitting in the top spot in the MAAC with a 12-2 record, and they come into tonight's game at Rider as winners of six straight. The Broncs have won four of their last six overall though, and four straight at home. My money is on the home team plus the points.
Here are my keys to the game:
1. Previous History - Rider owns the Hawks, winning nine of the last 10 meetings in this series. Their one loss came by a single point (55-54) at home last year. They avenged that loss by winning at Monmouth by a score of 63-60 last February.
2. Home Cookin' - The Broncs are 5-0 straight up in their last five home games versus the Hawks, and they've been a great bet as a home dog when facing tough opposition. This team doesn't allow a lot of points, holding the opposition to just 67.8 points per game in their last five overall.
3. X-Factor - The Broncs are 10-3 ATS in their last 13 games versus teams with a winning record.
