The Wisconsin Badgers got off to a slow start to the season, but they appear to have turned things around. They come into Illinois as winners of three straight, and there is no margin for error if they want to remain a factor in the BIG10. My money is on the Badgers to make it four straight.
Here are my keys to the game:
1. Previous History - The Illini have lost six of their last eight overall, and they are 2-7-3 ATS in their last 12 home games. Wisconsin has won eight straight against Illinois, and they covered the spread in all eight of those games.
2. Battle on the Boards - The Illini were slaughtered on the glass in their last game, with Ohio State out-rebounding them 51-34. They are likely to have similar problems tonight against the Badgers.
3. X-Factor - Forward Mike Thorne Jr. has missed the last two games, and is questionable to suit up for Illinois tonight. He's averaged 12.9 points and 8.5 rebounds per game this season.
