1. Previous History - These two teams have failed to reach the total in eight of the last 10 meetings, and the total in tonight's game is far higher than it was in any of those previous contests.

2. Memphis Defense - The Kings have averaged just 89.1 points while losing nine of the last 10 in this series.

3. X-Factor - Rudy Gay has played only one of the Kings' last five games and he has sat out the past two due to a corneal abrasion. His status for tonight's game is questionable.
