The Edmonton Oilers are reeling, coming into tonight's game in St. Louis as losers of eight straight games. They did however play a close game against a hot Nashville side last night, eventually losing 1-0 to Filip Forsberg's OT goal. Focus has been on tightening up a leaking D, and although a win is far-fetched, they should be able to keep the numbers down against the Blues tonight.

Here are my keys to the game:

1. St. Louis D - The Blues are allowing an even two goals per game, making them the best defensive team in the league together with Nashville who has the same ratio. How do their defense match-up against Edmonton you may ask? Well, they allowed only four goals over a three game sweep last season, sounds pretty good right?

2. Edmonton's Offense - A big reason to the Oilers eight game losing skid is their inability to find the net. They've averaged only 1.63 goals per game over this losing streak, and has gone 0-for-12 on the power play over their last four games.

3. X-Factor - With the Oilers coming straight from a game at Nashville last night they will most likely try to make this a slow-paced defensive battle. They're usually good at doing so on the road, with none of their last five away from home going over the total.

Selection: This is a play on the UNDER (10*)
