Rogers 10* Coach's Clinic
(NHL) Minnesota vs. Dallas, 11/15/2014 9:00 AM, Score: 2 - 1
Money Line: -115.00 Dallas (Home)
Result: Loss
The Wild started November by defeating the Dallas Stars 4-1 in Minnesota, but suffered four consecutive losses over their next four games. They managed to snap that streak against a lowly Sabres team on Thursday, but I wouldn't consicer a win against Buffalo an achievement. The Stars snapped a seven game losing streak beating Arizona on Tuesday followed by a 2-0 win against the Kings in LA. They're looking for a second home win of the season here, and I like their chances tonight.

Here are my keys to the game:

1. Goaltending - Darcy Kuemper was one of the hottest goalies in the NHL at the beginning of the season, but has lost form over the last couple of games. He is 0-3-0 over his last four behind a 3.56 GAA, and allowed two goals on two shots before being removed the last game. Their other option Niklas Backstrom has terrible numbers against Dallas, going 1-5-3 with a 3.75 GAA in his last nine starts in Texas. The Stars can turn to Kari Lehtonen who earned his first shutout of the season against the Canadiens Thursday, saving 27 shots.

2. Road Woes - The Wild are a notoriously poor road team, barely above .500 away from home last season and they have now dropped six of their last seven on the road.

3. X-factor - Tyler Seguin is tied for the NHL best with Rick Nash with his 12 goals. He had a hat trick against the Sharks in the Stars last home game.

Selection: This is a play on the Dallas Stars (10*)
