The Coach's 10* NHL Total Domination - *Very Early Start*
(NHL) Carolina vs. Boston, 11/15/2014 8:00 AM, Score: 1 - 2
Total: 5.00 | -135.00 Over
Result: Win
The Boston Bruins are coming off consecutive blowout losses, and they'll try to right the ship against the Carolina Hurricanes today. Their focus will most likely be on tightening up the defense after conceding 11 goals over the last two games, and I think we will see a low-scoring encounter as the Canes have struggled to find the net all season long.

Here are my keys to the game:

1. Goaltending - Tukka Rask was pulled Wednesday after allowing four goals in the 6-1 loss at Toronto. He's been way better at home though, posting a 1.73 GAA over four home games, all wins, this month. Cam Ward struggled in the early going this season, but has since posted a 1.49 GAA over his last six starts.

2. Trends - The Canes have a propensity of playing low scoring games against strong opponents and four of their last five road games against a team with a winning record have gone under the total.

3. X-factor - Both teams have played solid defense in front of their respective netminders. Boston is ranked #5 in the NHL allowing only 28 shots against per game and Carolina is not far behind allowing 28.5.

Selection: This is a play on CAR@BOS to go under the total (10*)
