The Coach's 10* NBA Total ANNIHILATOR
(NBA) New Orleans vs. Memphis, 11/03/2014 3:00 PM, Score: 81 - 93
Total: 189.50 | -110.00 Over
Result: Win
The New Orleans Pelicans (1-1) are coming to FedExForum in Memphis tonight to try and do some damage to the undefeated Memphis Grizzlies. These two teams have a history of playing low scoring match-ups, and I think we will see the two defenses being able to shut down their opponent quite well tonight.

Here are my keys to the game:

1. Defense - A big reason to the Grizzlies perfect record so far is their D. They have allowed only 86.3 points per game on average for a league best. The Pelicans are not doing too bad either, ranking 10th in the NBA for points allowed and are leading another category, sweeping up 35.7 defensive rebounds per game for a league best.

2. Trends - Six of the last seven meetings overall have gone under the total, and the same is true for all of the last four meetings in Memphis.

3. X-factor - There is a lot of pressure on young Anthony Davis to produce on the offense for the Pelicans. He is equally important on defense though, leading the league by a wide margin averaging six blocks per game compared to second ranked Roy Hibbert who is averaging 3.7. He is is also ranked fifth when it comes to defensive rebounds, averaging 8.5 per game so far.

Selection: This is a play on NO@MEM to go under the total (10*)
