Jacob deGrom will toe the slab for the Mets, and he's coming off back to back gems. deGrom (4-4, 2.62 ERA) allowed one run on three hits, striking out seven over five innings in a 10-2 win over the Cubs his last time out. Prior to that he struck out six while tossing eight scoreless innings in a 1-0 win over Atlanta.

The Marlins hand the ball to Justin Nicolino, who hasn't been missing many bats lately. Nicolino (2-4, 5.34 ERA) allowed four runs on seven hits over five innings in a no decision versus Atlanta his last time out. Prior to that he was torched for 10 runs on 23 hits over 10 1/3 innings at San Diego and Arizona.

The Mets are batting .342 in previous meetings with Nicolino.
