This is an 8* play on the Cleveland Indians.

The Indians won a record 14 straight before suffering consecutive losses at Toronto over the weekend. During that streak they swept the Tigers in Detroit, and I like Cleveland here in Game 2 of this home series versus the Tigers.

Anibal Sanchez will toe the slab for Detroit, and he was clobbered by Cleveland in Detroit just over a week ago. The right-hander was torched for four runs on five hits and a pair of walks over just five innings in that game. He's 0-3 with an ugly 8.79 ERA in three starts versus the Tribe this season.

Cleveland will hand the ball to Carlos Carrasco, who has been dominant in recent outings. Carrasco (4-2, 2.56 ERA) allowed one run on three hits, striking out 14 in 7 1/3 innings in a win over Toronto his last time out. His previous start was a complete game shutout win at Detroit. The Tigers have faced him twice this season, failing to score a single run.

To say the Tigers have struggled in this series would be an understatement, they are 2-14 in the last 16 meetings.
