The Rays split a two game series versus the Dodgers at Chavez Ravine, and they will open a new series against LA's other team in Anaheim tonight. The Angels are struggling, coming off back to back series losses at Milwaukee and Texas. I like Tampa with it's ace on the hill here in the City of Angels.

Chris Archer will toe the rubber for the Rays, and he's delivered consecutive gems. Archer (1-4, 5.01 ERA) allowed a pair of runs and walked four, but surrendered just one hit over six innings, not factoring in the decision in a 4-3 win over the Jays his last time out. Prior to that he tossed 6 2/3 scoreless innings, striking out 10 in a win over the Orioles. He's owned the Halos, going 4-1 with a 2.97 ERA in his last five starts against them.

The Angels hand the ball to Cory Rasmus, who is filling in for Garrett Richards. Rasmus (0-1, 4.40 ERA) will come out of the bullpen to make his first start of the season. He won't be expected to go deep into the ballgame, which should allow the Rays to get a good look at a pretty mediocre Angels bullpen.

Tampa has won 18 of the last 26 meetings in this series.
