(MLB) LA Dodgers vs. St. Louis, 10/07/2014 1:07 PM, Score: 2 - 3
Money Line: -154.00 LA Dodgers (Away)
Result: Loss
This is an 8* play on the LAD.

The Dodgers are facing elimination in St. Louis tonight, and they send their ace to the mound looking to force a Game 5 back in Los Angeles.

Kershaw (21-3, 1.77 ERA) gave up eight runs on eight hits over 6 2/3 innings in the 10-9 loss in Game 1, with six of the runs coming in the seventh inning. The lefty has struggled against the Cardinals at Busch Stadium lately, but today's a great opportunity to turn that around, leaning back on his impeccable 11-1, 1.85 ERA road record in the regular season. He had seven consecutive wins ahead of last Friday's game, and another long winning streak is imminent for the 26 year old.

The Cardinals will hand the ball to Shelby Miller who is coming off a rather lackluster start. Miller (10-9, 3.74 ERA) conceded three runs on five hits with two homers over 4 1/3 innings in a 4-3 loss at Chicago not factoring in the decision on Sep 23. The 23 year old has pitched six innings against the Dodgers this year, surrendering six runs on nine hits with a home run and four walks.
Adrian Gonzalez is 4-for-7 with a homer and four RBIs against Miller lifetime. Carl Crawford is a perfect 3-for-3 with a walk.

Take LAD.

Jesse Schule
