The Blues have won six of seven games in the month of February, and they've allowed a total of just four goals in those victories. The currently sit just four points clear of the Calgary Flames, who occupy the final Wild Card spot in the Western Conference. There isn't much room for error, and they will need two points here at home against the Vancouver Canucks. After losing six of their last eight overall, the Canucks are likely to be sellers at the trade deadline. Vancouver trails Calgary by four points, but the LA Kings are between them, and LA has two games in hand. Special teams will be a huge advantage for the home team, as Vancouver comes in ranked 27th on the power play and 23rd on the penalty kill. The Blues rank in the top 10 in both categories. Vancouver's #1 goaltender Ryan Miller is just 3-10 with a 3.08 GAA on the road, and he's lost four of his last five starts, giving up at least four goals in all of those defeats.
