Calgary has been playing inspired hockey in recent weeks, coming into tonight's home game against the Coyotes as winners of four of their last five. Arizona is coming off a home win over Pittsburgh (4-3 in OT), but has lost seven of it's last eight road games. The Coyotes are expected to be sellers before the trade deadline, with the playoffs way out of reach. The Flames have dominated this series in recent meetings, winning five straight versus Arizona. First line center Sean Monahan has scored nine goals in his last 12 games, and he's scored five goals in his last four home games. The Flames boast one of the league's best power-plays, while the Coyotes rank near the bottom of the league on the penalty kill. Superior special teams, a more potent offense and a healthy home ice advantage should be enough for the Flames here. The Coyotes have lost 10 of their last 12 in Cow Town.
