Stephen Nover's 10-Dime Road Warrior
(MLB) San Francisco vs. Kansas City, 08/08/2014 4:10 PM, Score: 2 - 4
Money Line: -109.00 San Francisco (Away)
Result: Loss
I'll lay this short road price to back Madison Bumgarner, especially with Angel Pagan back in San Francisco's lineup.

The left-handed Bumgarner could be the top road pitcher in baseball with a 9-2 away mark and 1.58 ERA. He's off a two-hit, 10-strikeout complete game road win against the Mets this past Sunday. The Giants are 6-1 in Bumgarner's last seven away matchups.

Getting the underrated Pagan back is huge for San Francisco, which went 19-26 without him. Pagan also happens to batting .500 lifetime against Royals starter Jason Vargas.

Vargas is not in good form losing his last two starts while allowing nine runs in 10 innings during this span. The Royals have lost seven of their last 10 home interleague games when facing a southpaw.
