This is a 10* TOTAL ART OF WAR on the UNDER between the Arizona Coyotes and the Montreal Canadiens.
These teams have both been playing to some pretty high-scoring games this season, but for a number of different reasons we look for this total to fall below the posted number once the final horn blares. Most recently the Habs are coming off a 4-3 OT win over the Canucks to snap a two-game slide. Note that Montreal has fallen behind in the first period in four straight games and has allowed 12 goals in its last three. A date vs. the Coyotes is just what the doctor ordered to keep the momentum rolling for Montreal though as it's taken ten of the last 12 in this series. Arizona won't be rolling over today obviously and will be eager to atone for back-to-back 5-2 losses, the most recent in Long Island on Monday. With Carey Price sitting this one out, we're going to call the goaltending a "wash," today, but note that each team has exhibited strong UNDER trends in this position as Arizona has seen the total fall UNDER the number in 21 of its last 37 following a non-conference contest, while Montreal has seen the total go UNDER the number in 32 of its last 54 in the same position.
