When the smoke clears at the end of this one, we look for this total to eclipse the posted number. Butch Jones' Volunteers have won three straight, including four off their last five, while also posting three conference victories thus far. Missouri rallied to upset BYU last week just hours after head coach Gary Pinkel announced he'd resign at the end of the 2015 season to battle lymphoma. Suffice it to say, to send Pinkel out with a win in his final home game would be monumental for the Tigers and a perfect ending to an amazing career for the reigning SEC Coach of the Year. Tennessee though could obviously care less about any of that, it needs a win here just as badly and it does come into this one playing with the "triple revenge" factor. Both teams have a lot to play for and ultimately we believe that this sense of intense competition will lead to a higher-scoring affair. Note that Tennessee has seen the total go OVER the number in two of three on the road already this season and in three of its last five after two or more consecutive SU victories, while Missouri has seen the total sail above the posted number in five of its last eight as an underdog of 3.5 to ten points.
