This is an 8* play on the UNDER between Navy and Tulsa.
When the smoke clears at the end of this one, we look for this total to sneak below the spotted number. Navy is 8-1 and got its breakthrough victory of the season against then No. 13 Memphis two weeks ago, but the team still has one more test next week vs. the undefeated Houston Cougars. The Midshipmen are going to have their hands full with a 5-5 Tulsa team which is desperate for one more win though. The Golden Hurricane will have to slow down Navy QB Keenan Reynolds, who ran for 137 yards and four TD's in his team's 55-14 victory over SMU last week. Tulsa will also be eager to atone for lacklustre 49-38 loss to Cincinnati last week. Easier said than done though obviously and certainly the Golden Hurricane will face a much stiffer test on both sides of the ball this week. Note that Navy has seen the total go UNDER the number in four of its last five as a road favorite, while Tulsa has seen the total stay below the posted number in two of three this year off a loss vs. a conference rival. A bunch of situational factors and strong O/U trends do indeed all point to the UNDER as the savvy move in this contest.
