Neither of these teams has played to many high-scoring affairs this year, but we feel that the conditions are now finally right for a shootout and expect this total to eclipse the posted number as the game comes down the stretch. MAC Football is interesting, as basically every game is a rivalry game and this one is no exception. Keep your eyes on Central Michigan QB Cooper Rush, who throws on average almost 40 attempts per game with a completion percentage of 68.2 and a TD to INT ratio of 2.4 to 1; Rush will be firing down field early and often and is poised to have a big day vs. the Flashes suspect secondary. Not many are giving Kent State a chance here as a 10.5 underdog, but with a chance to break a three-game slide and try to play spoiler for the Chips chances at reaching the six-win plateau in their final home game of the year, there's no question that the motivation factor is still firmly in place for the Flashes tonight.
