This is a 10* TOTAL OF THE YEAR on the UNDER between Miami and Cincinnati.

Cincinnati is 2-2, while Miami comes in rested at 3-0. The Bearcats have lost 11 straight to the Hurricanes and once again they're sizeable underdogs in this matchup as well. The Bearcats were the preseason favorite in the American, but losses to Temple and Memphis, as well as starting QB Gunner Kiel due to an injury suffered last week, have the home side reeling right now. Clearly Cincinnati will be focused on shoring up its porous defensive play, it's allowed an average of 40 points in three games with FBS opponents and it will once again have its hands full with the combination of QB Brad Kaaya and RB Joseph Yearby. The Bearcats' offense looked pretty good with redshirt freshman Hayden Moore last week, but we feel he'll also be tested today vs. the hungry and underrated Hurricanes' defense. It's obviously a tough spot for Moore, whose first career start comes on national TV, a recipe for butterflies and embarrassment; also note that Miami has already produced nine sacks through three games. Moore has a live arm, but the team overall is simply overwhelmed with injuries. The Hurricanes are the better team, but the backfield of Yearby and Kaaya aside, there's nothing overly special about the offense. And from an O/U trend based stand point, this play is about as strong as you could possibly ask for, as note that Miami has seen the total go UNDER the number in five of its last six following its bye week, while Cincinnati has seen the total dip below the posted number in nine of its last 16 after playing a conference game. This can still be a high-scoring game, while falling UNDER this sky-high number and that's exactly what we're expecting.
