Kershaw has been fairly average this year, but has to be liking his chances here throwing opposite Tom Koehler (5-4, 3.76 ERA) who was scratched from his last start due to shoulder pain and who owns a 2-3, 5.75 ERA in all "day" games this season. A tough spot for Koehler to come back in, I think we clearly have not seen the best of Kershaw yet this season, but will give the southpaw the slight nod in this match-up.
