This is a 5* BIG-CHALK CHOKE-OUT on the LA Dodgers.
The clear talent discrepancy on the mound alone absolutely justifies in laying this larger price. The visitors send Clayton Kershaw to the hill to stop the two-game slide. Kershaw of course leads the league with a 1.82 ERA; note that he's been even better at Miller Park throughout his career, posting an almost non-existent 0.78 ERA there. Kershaw has been particularly dominant of late, he's 10-0 with a 1.16 ERA over his last 12 starts and his team has won each of those outings. And that's bad news for the Brewers as the hard-throwing southpaw has limited them to a .227 average overall, and a tiny .133 average in three victories in Milwaukee. The home side counters with Jimmy Nelson (2-2, 4.20 ERA) who will make his fifth straight start since being recalled from Triple-A Nashville, he'd earn his first career home win on Tuesday by giving up three runs over seven frames in a 4-3 victory over San Francisco. I think Nelson chokes today though against a determined and resolute Dodgers team and in throwing opposite the World's best pitcher. I have no problem laying this price; play on the DODGERS.
