AAA's VERY EARLY SENIOR CIRCUIT SLUG-FEST! INSANE 20-3 (87%) MLB RUN!
(MLB) Washington vs. Cincinnati, 07/27/2014 9:10 AM, Score: 4 - 2

This is an 8* SLUG-FEST on the OVER between the Washington Nationals and the Cincinnati Reds.

While the Reds have stumbled of late, they broke their string of futility with a 1-0 victory yesterday and I think the home side can build off that and finally get some production at the plate today. Cincinnati has in fact been held to just a single run in three straight games and it won't be an easy task today in facing the Nats' Doug Fister (9-2, 2.92 ERA) who gave up two runs over seven innings in a 9-4 win over Cincinnati on May 20th. Most recently Fister gave up nine hits, allowing just two runs over 5 2/3's innings in a 7-2 win at Colorado on Monday. The home side counters with Mat Latos (2-2, 3.15 ERA) who had received three runs of support while going 0-1 with a ballooned 5.25 ERA in his last two outings; most recently the hard-throwing right-hander was shelled for five runs over seven frames in a 5-2 setback at Milwaukee on Monday. Note that Washington has seen the total eclipse the number in 14 of 21 road games when there total in the contest is set a 7 or less, while Cincinnati has seen it sail above the number in 24 of 46 this year when the total in the game is 7 or less. I believe the conditions are finally right for a higher-scoring contest, this one sneaks above the number as the game comes down the stretch; play on the OVER.
