This is an 8* SITUATIONAL PITCHING MISMATCH on the Milwaukee Brewers.
This is a clear pitching mismatch, but when you also add the way in which Milwaukee lost last night, I look for a highly motivated home side to find a way to get the job done at the end of this one. The Brewers send Wily Peralta (11-6, 3.58 ERA) to the mound who will look to help his team bounce back from its first loss in its last five games; Peralta has won two straight by allowing two runs off six hits spanning 14 innings of work. Note that Peralta has been dominant vs. the Mets as well, holding them to a run and four hits over 6 1/3's innings in a road victory on Junle 11th. The visitors counter with Jonathon Niese (5-5, 3.13 ERA) who struggled in his first start after returning from the disabled list, giving up four runs and a season-high 11 hits in his team's 5-2 loss at Seattle on Monday. While he's enjoyed some success against the Brewers in the past, I think Niese runs into a buzzsaw today, the writing is on the wall in my opinion, I feel this line should be much higher. Play on MILWAUKEE.
