This is a 10* TOTAL ART OF WAR on the UNDER between the Golden State Warriors and the LA Clippers.
We don't subscribe to any single handicapping methodology, but instead feel that being flexible with ones approach is the best way to secure profits over the longterm. One set of criteria which we always use when making our decisions are Against The Spread (ATS) statistics.
This particular play is based primarily on strong/relevant O/U ATS statistics and common sense:
As note that Golden State has seen the total go UNDER the number in ten of 15 already this year after playing to three or more consecutive SU victories, while LA has seen the total go UNDER the number in two of three trying to revenge a home a loss against an opponent.
The bottom line: LA does indeed play with revenge after falling 141-113 at home to the Warriors back in late October. With a much more "winnable" game at home against Atlanta on Monday night, it's not too hard to imagine the home side getting caught "looking ahead" to that one. The Warriors on the other hand come in rolling, but they're dealing with various injuries to starters, which is the contributing factor to why this line took so long to come out. With a game at home against Denver up next, it's also not too hard to imagine the visitors looking ahead as well. When you add it all up, this number is indeed a little high. Play the UNDER.
