This is a 10* SUPER TOTAL on the OVER between the Nashville Predators and the St. Louis Blues.
The Predators shocked the hockey world with their four-game sweep of Chicago Blackhawks. Nashville got the job done on the defensive end, slowing down the Hawks high-powered attack, with all four games either "pushing" or falling below the posted number (0-1-4). But where Chicago failed, I think St. Louis will succeed. The Blues needed five games to get by the Wild and also won their series with a commanding overall defensive performance, with only Game 5 going OVER the number in the Blues' 4-3 OT victory. Note though that Nashville has seen the total go OVER the number in four of six already this year when playing with three or more days rest and in 18 of 28 after scoring four goals or more in its previous contest, while St. Louis has seen the total go OVER the number in three of four this year when playing with three or more days rest. We're expecting a wide open, high-scoring affair in Game 1, play the OVER.
