For the most part MLB handicapping comes down to the starting pitching and in this case, we think that the Orioles have a major advantage.
Kevin Gausman: He's 1-0 with a 3.94 ERA. Most recently he gave up one run off five hits over six innings in a victory over the Jays on Thursday. Note that he posted a respectable 3.88 ERA in all "night" games last year.
Bronson Arroyo: He's 0-2 with a 9.90 ERA. He's been rocked over his first two starts, most recently getting shelled for five runs off seven hits over six innings in a 5-1 loss to the Brewers on Thursday.
The bottom line: Cincinnati has been better at the plate this year, but Baltimore remains one of the highest scoring teams in the league. We feel this line should be a lot higher, play on BALTIMORE.
