Jeff Samardzija gets the nod for SF in this one on Sunday evening but I like our chances with the young Kolby Allard going for Texas and looking to avoid the sweep.
The tough lefty
Allard is making his first start of the season, replacing the injured Corey Kluber is ready to go in the pitchers ballpark. Allard went 4-0 with a 3.78 ERA in his first six starts for the Rangers last year and then hit a wall with a tired arm and finished 0-2 with an 8.25 ERA in his final three.
He is young, fresh and ready to go here and has great stuff. The Giants have never faced him and thats an advantage for him and Texas.
