Twins over Rangers- Both these sub .500 clubs are still in the AL Wildcard hunt trailing Kansas City by 4.5 games for the final playoff spot. Starting pitching will not be the high-lite tonight as both hurlers have struggled this season. Texas will start Martin Perez (5-9, 5.13 ERA) who has dropped three consecutive starts with an ERA of 8.31 and is 0-2, in three career starts against the Twins. Minnesota will start veteran and former Cy Young Award winner Bartolo Colon (2-9, 7.70) who has improved in each of his three starts for the Twins. Colon is 20-9 with a 3.57 ERA against Texas and gets the nod from me tonight. Take MINNESOTA!
