Astros over Tigers- Detroit's Justin Verlander (4-3, 4.39 ERA) is on the down side of his career and even thought he has pitched better this season then anytime over the past three years he is just not the same as we expect from the former Cy Young winner. He is 4-0 with a 2.05 ERA in seven career starts against Houston. But, the good news for him ends their as he is 2-3 on the road with a 7.24 ERA and a 1.79 WHIP in five starts.
