Orioles over Nationals- For years since the inter-league play began I have loved the 'Subway Series' in New York where the Mets actually hold the advantage over the Yankees. One other rivalry that has been re-created since the inception of Inter-league play is the 'Beltway Series' between Washington and Baltimore. The Nationals who have the best record in the NL has not won a series from the Orioles since 2007 and are just 5-13 in their last 18 meetings in Baltimore. Washington has played well on the road this season winning 11 of their last 13 games played but the O's are 14-3 in their last 17 home games. Gio Gonzalez (3-0, 1.64 ERA) has been great this season but he is just 1-5 lifetime at Baltimore. Take the ORIOLES!
