The Chicago White Sox are coming off a nice 6-4 win over the MilwaukeeBrewers last night. The bigger news out of the night is that Carlos Rodon left after 2 innings with a sore shoulder after giving up one run on three hits over two innings of work. Lucas Giolito will get the start for the Sox in this one. So far this season he is 0-1 with a 6.52 ERA and 9 strikeouts.
The Milwaukee Brewers will look to turn things around in their second game against the Sox. Christian Yelich finally got some hits, going 2 for 4 with a double. The Brewers will hand the ball to Brandon Woodruff for tonight's start. So far this season, he is 1-1 with a 1.59 ERA and 15 strikeouts.
The under is 4-1-1 in the last 6 meetings between these two teams. Woodruff has pitched well this season and Giolito pitched well in his second start and I expect this start to be like the first. It is hard to go under with the White Sox offense but I like both pitchers to control this game early.
