The Florida Panthers are looking to tie their series up against the New York Islanders with a win today. The Florida Panthers were only able to find the back of the net once in game one and that won't cut it if they hope to advance. Jonathan Huberdeau was the lone scorer for Florida. He was assisted by MacKenzie Weegar. They played well the defensive side, allowing just two goals.
With a win today, the New York Islanders look to take a commanding two-game lead in their best of five series. The Islanders were able to get two pucks past the Panthers goaltending and held on for the win. Semyon Varlamov had a great game, allowing one goal on 28 shots.
The under is 12-2-2 in the last 16 meetings. In eight of the last nine games between the two, they have combined for five goals or less. The Islander play tough on the defensive end, especially if they get an early lead. The Panthers have only scored one goal in game 1 and their exhibition game combined. I am looking for another tight game going under the total.
