Both teams have been playing to several high-scoring affairs of late, but all signs point to this Sunday finale going UNDER the number.
The Diamondbacks go with Tyler Gilbert, and he's 1-2 with a 3.12 ERA. He most recently allowed three runs over seven innings in a loss to these very Mariners last weekend.
The home side goes with Yusei Kikuchi, who is 7-8 with a 4.32 ERA and who most recently gave up six runs over 1.2 innings in a loss to the Astros on Monday.
It's been that kind of year for Kikuchi, who has looked brilliant at times, and terrible in others.
Regardless he owns a 149:57 K:BB over 146 innings and he's been remarkable in all "day" games, going 4-6 with a 5.58 ERA in all night contests, and 3-2 with a 1.97 ERA in all day games.
