The Dodgers have now seen the total hit in nine straight games. The Braves have also been playing to several lower-scoring contests.
Despite a couple of decent starting pitchers going head-to-head on Wednesday in this one, I believe the value has now finally swung the other way as far as the total is concerned.
This pick isn't based upon the starting pitchers. They've both been good this year.
The Braves go with Max Fried, while the Dodgers go with Max Scherzer. As mentioned, each has been excellent.
This pick is based upon the overall situation though, and some strong O/U trends, as LA has seen the total go OVER the number in eight of its last ten after playing to three or more straight UNDERS in a row.
These talented offenses have been overshadowed for far too long.
