This is a 10* TOTAL OF THE MONTH on the OVER Orioles/Yankees.
I had a play on the OVER between these teams yesterday and while that total came up short, I believe today's will indeed fly OVER the number once it's all said and done.
The visitors hand the ball to Alex Wells, who is 1-1 with a 5.28 ERA. Over his first two starts the rookie has given up seven runs over over 10.2 innings.
Nestor Cortes is 0-0 with a 1.93 ER for New York. He hasn't pitched since July 28th. He's been decent, but the sample size is just too small to draw any conclusive conclusions.
I have zero confidence in either of these young starters. This is a desperate and hungry Yanks club in need of a win. It's the middle of the summer at Yankee Stadium and I say we see a few balls finally leave the park today.
Expect this one to fly OVER sooner, rather than later.
