This is an 8* FAN APPRECIATION TUESDAY RUN-LINE PLAY on the Chicago White Sox.
I like the White Sox to win this game. Not just win though, but to win by a sizeable margin as well.
The home side goes with the red hot Dylan Cease, who is 2-0 with a 2.37 ERA. He most recently gave up one hit over six scoreless, while also striking out a career-high 11. To go along with his sharp ERA, Cease also sports an elite 40:15 K:BB over 30.1 innings.
Kenta Maeda is 2-2 with a 5.02 ERA. He had his last start skipped over due to postponement.
I like Maeda, I think he's a solid starter. But Cease is on an entirely different level right now. Despite a turbulent start, the White Sox are now first in the division and I don't expect them to take the foot off the gas here vs. their main rival.
Chicago is 9-6 at home so far, while Minneosta is 6-9 on the road.
