Enough is enough for the Royals! KC enters having lost eight of its last ten, including seven in a row. Chicago has won two straight, but with a night off before a three-game set vs. the Twins, this sets up as a look-ahead spot for the visiting side.
Mike Minor is 2-1 with a 5.23 ERA for the Royals, while Lucas Giolito is 1-3 with a 4.99 ERA for the White Sox.
Minor looked good in his last start vs. the Indians, allowing three runs over six innings in a no-decision.
Giolito allowed two runs over 5.1 innings in a loss to the Tribe in his last start as well.
I think these pitchers are evenly matched. That always swings the value to the undervalued underdog. In this case, I'm going to lay the very reasonable price for the extra 1.5 runs of insurance.
