This is an 8* ATS BLOWOUT on Texas Tech.
Both teams enter at 1-0 SU. I'm not predicting an outright upset, but I do like the Red Raiders to keep this closer than what this spread would suggest.
The Longhorns crushed UTEP 59-3 last time out. QB Sam Ehlinger had his way with 426 yards and five TD's. The Longhorns also dominated defensively, but now there's definitely a "step up" in competition.
Texas Tech beat Houston Baptist 35-33. QB Alan Bowman had two TD's and an INT. The Red Raiders can only go up from here with their defensive performance.
Texas Tech has the high-flying offense to hang with the Ehlinger and company and I think it'll do just enough on the defensive end to keep this one competitive late.
