This is a 10* FALSE FAVORITE on the Colorado Rockies.
Both teams have been horrible of late. The D-Backs return home after an 0-5 road trip, including losing 6-1 to the Giants last night. The D-Backs are getting poor hitting and that's been combined with brutal starting pitching and a disastrous bullpen.
Colorado has lost seven straight and 10 of its last 11 though and I believe it'll be very prepared to "get off the schneid" tonight and get back to its winning ways after starting the season 11-3.
Ryan Castellani (0-1, 3.77 ERA) is a wash here with Merrill Kelly (3-2, 2.59) on the mound tonight in my opinion.
After dropping two of three at home to the D-Backs earlier in the season, I look for the desperate visiting side to exact a little revenge in Game 1 of this series.
The play is Colorado.
