ASA PLAY 8* ON Over 51.5 Points – Buffalo @ Tennessee, Tuesday at 7:00 PM ET - These were 2 of the NFL’s better defensive teams in 2019 with Buffalo allowing just 4.9 YPP (4th in the NFL) and Tennessee allowing 5.5 YPP (15th). However, both stop units have fallen off drastically in 2020 and rank in the bottom 3rd of the league. In fact, both defenses are currently allowing a full 1.0 YPP more than their finishing numbers last season (Tennessee allowing 6.5 YPP / Buffalo allowing 5.9 YPP). The Bills offense is drastically better than last season as they are 5th in the NFL in scoring putting up 31 PPG. Last year they averaged just 19.6 PPG. That starts with QB Josh Allen who is having an MVP type season thus far. His completion % sits at 71% after not topping 59% in either of his first 2 seasons. He’s thrown for 12 TDs and just 1 pick after accumulating 20 & 9 all of last season. They only game Buffalo has been held under 30 points was their season opener vs the Jets where they had 27. They had 21 at half in that game, had a large lead, and tapered back their offense in the 2nd half. They should put up big points on a Tennessee defense that has allowed at least 30 in every game but one and that was vs Denver one of the worst scoring offenses in the NFL. Tennessee’s offense has been much more diverse this season. Last year they relied heavily on RB Henry and the run. While they still lean on the run, QB Tannehill is throwing the ball more often averaging 35 pass attempts per game (just 28 pass attempts per game last year). The Titans had a low scoring game to start the season at Denver but since have put up 33 & 31 points their last 2 games. Buffalo’s defense is allowing 28 PPG if you take out their meeting with the Jets who struggle to score on everyone. These 2 teams have combined to go 5-1-1 to the OVER so far this season and we see both having a shot to get to 28+ in this one. Take the OVER
