John Lester is not having a good year. He comes into this one with a 5.02 ERA. He's constantly giving up hits and might be at the tail end of his career. It doesn't help that the Cardinals are simply not creating enough offense for their pitchers to consistently win games. Lester is up against Fried of Atlanta who comes in with a 4.42 ERA on the season however he's come alive as of late and is simply the better pitcher in this matchup. There is no comparison of the offenses as Atlanta has the bats to open this wide open early especially with the additions of Adam Duvall and Jorge Soler. Take the Braves to win this with ease!
